What You Will Master

This course is an immersive blend of leadership training, hands-on skill development, and practical experience. You will develop the knowledge and abilities to organise, solve problems, and confidently lead certified divers.

Leadership & Dive Knowledge:

• Master dive theory and supervision techniques through a mix of classroom study and practical application.
• Develop your ability to organise dive logistics and manage certified divers safely.
• Complete water skills and stamina exercises that build your confidence and competence in any situation.

Professional Capabilities:
Upon certification, you become a PADI Professional with a wide range of abilities. You will be authorised to:

• Lead & Guide: Plan, organise, and direct dives for certified divers, conduct PADI Scuba Review programs, and lead tours for Open Water students.
• Assist with Training: Work alongside PADI Instructors to help shape the next generation of divers, assisting with courses and supervising students during training dives.
• Conduct Your Own Programs: Independently teach PADI Skin Diver and Discover Snorkelling programs, and conduct subsequent dives for Discover Scuba Diving participants.
• Expand Your Skills: Earn the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty Instructor rating and teach this popular specialty.

Flexible Training Options to Fit Your Life

We understand that everyone's schedule is different. Choose the path that works best for you:

• Full-Time Immersion: A focused 14-day program designed to get you certified quickly.
• Part-Time Weekends: Complete your training over 5 weekends, spread across a maximum of 8 weeks.

Course Prerequisites

To begin your PADI Divemaster journey, you must meet the following requirements:

• Certification: Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from another agency).
• First Aid: Have completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care (or equivalent CPR and First Aid training) within the last 24 months.
• Dive Experience: Have a minimum of 40 logged dives to start the course and 60 to be certified.
• Medical Fitness: Submit a current medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
• Age: Be at least 18 years old.
