What sets our program apart? We believe in genuine experience. As well as staged scenarios—you'll be an active part of our crew, assisting on real courses and guiding certified divers. While there is essential theory and classroom work, most of your days will be spent where you belong: at sea and diving!

You will be mentored every step of the way by our experienced team, gaining the practical skills and industry insights that can't be learned from a textbook. Our internship includes all the criteria of the standard PADI Divemaster course, but with one crucial difference: we have no fixed timeframe. You are with us until you have logged over 80 dives, making this ideal for candidates starting with fewer than 50 dives.

We offer transparent pricing to help you plan your investment. The cost includes all your boat trips, air fills, PADI materials, and mentorship from our talented team. We even cover your initial application and professional fees to PADI.

Full Package Price: $3,700
Includes the use of a full set of high-quality rental equipment for the duration of your internship.

Own-Gear Price: $3,200

For those who have their own complete set of dive gear. We provide tanks and weights.

What's Included in Your Internship?

Unlimited Diving: All boat trips and air fills to get you well over the 80-dive mark.

PADI Divemaster Crew-Pak: All the required PADI materials for your success.

Professional Fees: We cover your initial PADI application fee. (Annual renewals are your responsibility).

COC Guidence: Guidance on obtaining your Worksafe Certificate of Competency (COC), which are required for legal employment in NZ.

What We Need From You

PADI Divemaster eLearning: You must complete the online theory with PADI before your first day of practical training with us.

Full Dive Medical: A "Fit to Dive" statement from a designated dive doctor is required. The medical exam costs approximately $250.

A Positive Attitude: We're looking for individuals with a hardworking, fun-loving outlook on life, ready to become part of our professional team.

Don't have the 40 required entry dives yet? No problem! We offer a "DM Prep" package with half-price diving to get your numbers up before you officially begin your internship.
